GuestVine detects podcast guestappearances by matching people against episode metadata across the public podcast index, verifying identity to avoid same-name mix-ups, and excluding hosts appearing on their own shows. “In demand” is measured as the count of distinct showsa person has guested on — breadth, not raw volume, since one prolific own show can't inflate it. Figures updated October 2026.
