Jimmy Choo started diving while serving with the Singapore Navy during his thirty-year career. Throughout this time, he was able to experience a variety of diving that the Navy offers. Moving into the recreational side, he started teaching with SSI before branching out to teach with different agencies. Never one to become complacent, led him to start training and eventually become an instructor with Global Underwater Explorers.
