Joseff Gnagbo yw Cadeirydd newydd Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg. Ond nid Cymro Cymraeg nac hyd yn oed Cymru yw Joseff - mae'n newyddiadurwr, academydd ac ymgyrchydd gwleidyddol o'r Côte d'Ivoire yng ngorllewin Affrica a gafodd loches wleidyddol a danfonwyd i fyw yng Nghaerdydd yn 2018. Yn y brifddinas dysgodd y Gymraeg ac mae bellach yn dysgu Cymraeg fel ail iaith i oedolion - gan gynnwys ceiswyr lloches. Bu’n siarad â Siôn Jobbins o Radio YesCymru am ei fywyd yng Nghymru, ei gefnogaeth i’r Gymraeg ac annibyniaeth Gymreig a’r tebygrwydd a welai â’i famwlad a’i wlad fabwysiedig. * Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg = http://cymdeithas.cymru * Melin Drafod, melin drafod asgell chwith dros annibyniaeth - http://melindrafod.cymru * Y Sŵn - ffilm am Gwynfor Evans a sefydlu S4C - https://www.s4c.cymru/cy/drama/y-swn/ * Cymraeg i Oedolion - https://dysgucymraeg.cymru * Canolfa Oasis, Caerdydd - https://www.oasiscardiff.org/ * Yr Americanwr Ari Smith (sianel @Xiaomanyc) yn siarad Cymraeg ar strydoedd Caerdydd - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp-QCiACGAU Dolenni eraill - Dysgwr Americanaidd: https://youtu.be/dp-QCiACGAU?si=VC52fJhy3e9GHaiz
Joseff Gnagbo is the new Chair of Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg (the Welsh Language Society - the radical pressure group which fought and won language status like roadsigns, S4C and Welsh language laws). But Joseff isn't Welsh - he's a journalist and academic and political activist from Côte d'Ivoire in west Africa who was given political asylum and found himself in Cardiff in 2018. In the capital he learnt Welsh and now teaches Welsh as a second language to adults - including asylum seekers. He spoke to Siôn Jobbins of Radio YesCymru about his life in Wales, his support for the Welsh language and Welsh independence and the similarities which he saw with his homeland and adopted country. * Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg - http://cymdeithas.cymru * Melin Drafod pro indendence left wing think tank - http://melindrafod.cymru * Y Sŵn - movie about the Gwynfor Evans, and the successful campaign for S4C - https://www.s4c.cymru/en/drama/y-swn/ * Learn Welsh - https://learnwelsh.cymru/ * Oasis Centre, Cardiff - https://www.oasiscardiff.org/ * American Youtuber, Ari Smith, (@Xiaomanyc) speaking Welsh on the street in Cardiff - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp-QCiACGAU Other link - American learner: https://youtu.be/dp-QCiACGAU?si=VC52fJhy3e9GHaiz
