Not all faith journeys look the same. But like a race, what matters isn’t where you start - it’s that you do. Some begin early. Some begin late. And some don’t look like they’ll ever begin at all. If coming to faith felt harder for you than it seemed to for others - or if belief came slowly through skepticism or resistance - this episode will help you make sense of your story. Tracy Morgan didn’t grow up believing in God. She thought Christians were naïve. The first time she ever stepped into a church, she didn’t come seeking God - she picked up a Bible out of curiosity and quietly judged the people around her for praying. That day, the church stopped to pray for a newborn baby who wasn’t expected to survive. About a month later, Tracy returned and came face to face with the baby they had prayed for - alive and well, now home with his mother. What followed wasn’t instant belief, but a slow unraveling of resistance through kindness, patience, scripture, and time. And in the process, Tracy began to understand God - and the power of prayer - in a completely new way. By the end of this episode, you’ll walk away with clarity and relief - a way to see your own journey not as delayed or broken, but meaningful from the very beginning. If this resonates, follow the podcast so you don’t miss stories that help make sense of faith when it doesn’t start easily, leave a review to help others who feel behind find reassurance, and share this episode with someone who may think it’s too late to begin. _____________________________________ ✨ Feel Your Best with LifeWave! ✨ At God’s Goodness Podcast, we love sharing stories of faith, miracles, and God’s goodness! Dulcie Taylor & Tracy Morgan drop by the studio to play some music and talk with SLO TALK podcast hosts James Davis & Martha Torkington. Dulcie Taylor learned a hard music lesson at an early age – don’t leave your ukulele unattended in a porch chair at the beach. Some clueless teenager can sit on it and smash it to bits. The demise of her ukulele was a tough moment for ten-year-old Dulcie but that Christmas her Mother bought her a guitar and Taylor’s lifelong love of singing and songwriting began. In hindsight, a grown-up Taylor sees the smashed ukulele as something of a blessing in disguise…after all, she has shared the stage with a long and impressive list of artists, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Asleep at the Wheel, Guy Clark, John Gorka, and Kathy Mattea. Dulcie Taylor Website: dulcietaylor.com Tracy Morgan loves and plays many genres of music. He is a skilled drummer, percussionist & teacher who finds rhythm wherever he can. Tracy is a drafter by trade, occasionally works as a backstage manager for concerts and festivals, and also enjoys serving as a substitute music host for KCBX public radio.
