Season 3, of @undunnwithashleydunn kicks off with recent Emmy-winning actress, writer and director Jasmine Guy. Jasmine rose to fame in the 80’s with her first tv appearance in Fame, from there she appeared in several tv and film projects including School Daze. But we fell in LOVE with Jasmine when she burst onto our screens as southern Belle Whitley Gilbert at the factious Hillman College. Since then Jasmine has gone on to continue to have a successful career spanning over 4 decades. In this episode, Jasmine shares how she currently feeling after her long awaited Emmy win, we go back and talk the early days of fame, and how she auditioned several times before landing the coveted role of “Whitley”. We also discuss a possible reimagining of the 90’s hit show and what she’s up to next. One things for sure, she’s still beautiful, booked and busy. I’m just glad I was able to have some of her time.
