The Police was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Summers twice won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance, first in 1979 for “Reggatta de Blanc” (written with Sting and Stewart Copeland) and in 1980 for “Behind My Camel.” His photographs have been shown in galleries around the world and his books include Throb (1983) and a memoir One Train Later (2006). In December, he will be touring Florida. The show will include stories, his photography, and music.
