We are solving a crime from the past. Rob and Rich never reviewed the pilot of Supernatural or gave it a beard rating, so we are going back to the first episode to fix this mistake. Rob and Rich finally rewatch (as opposed to watching for the first time) the first episode of Supernatural and give it the rating it deserves. Plus, listen to the original interview with Jared and Jensen all over again. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Jimmy addresses the latest news, like Trump launching an attack on Iran, before speaking with Charlize Theron and Jensen Ackles.
Jensen Ackles returns to the podcast. This time to discuss his second time directing an episode of the series. He shares stories from set about working with Colin Ford and Jewel Staite. Please enjoy is unedited interview about Wendigo, plus some fun BTS of us recording the Google game with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. There’s always something more in the second listen! Plus, you get to hear the potty words. These unedited/uncensored conversations and bonus clips are typically reserved for our Patreon supporters. However, with the labor dispute creating a pause in publishing new episodes, we are bringing you some of this content for a limited time, so gobble it up while it’s available. Not only do we have both Karl Urban and Jensen Ackles on this week’s show to talk about the new season of The Boys, but Empire’s Helen O’Hara makes her Pilot TV debut, finally getting the chance to lay her hands on one of the stars of Supernatural (figuratively speaking). Then, we nearly fail to get Obi-Wan Kenobi on the show but, thanks to some post-production tomfoolery, we were able to do a last minute drop-in to cover off all things Star Wars, and that was in addition to Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols biopic, Pistol and sci-fi adaptation The Midwich Cuckoos on Sky. All that and Beth (for she has returned) Boyd and James mull over some of the best shows that have filmed in their respective home towns.
Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles join the conversation with hosts Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict for the premiere episode of Supernatural: Then & Now . The road trip begins with Sam and Dean Winchester themselves here to discuss the pilot episode of Supernatural , written by Eric Kripke and directed by David Nutter. The boys join us to talk about auditioning and meeting, what goes into a pilot, lighting ceilings on fire, and much more as we get this show on the road.
