- Is William Lane Craig’s Molinism Incoherent? A Reply to Ryan Mullins
Philosophical theologian Ryan Mullins argues that William Lane Craig’s version of Molinism is incoherent, and the charge comes down to one word: deliberation. If God already knows everything, can he really deliberate about which world to create? And if he can’t, is his choice truly free? Dr. Craig responds to Mullins’s critique, evaluates defenses offered by Tim Stratton and Reasonable Faith's own Tyson James, and explains why Mullins’s proposed fix would come at a steep theological price. Plus, a decades-old atheist argument from Dan Barker turns out to be the same puzzle in different clothes.
- N.T. Wright, Francis Collins, and the Historical Adam: William Lane Craig Responds
Francis Collins and N.T. Wright recently fielded audience questions after a public conversation, several of which centered on the historicity of Adam and Eve. Collins argues that population genetics rules out a single ancestral couple, and lays out the model he finds most plausible: a couple selected out of an existing population and given something new. Wright suggests Genesis 2–3 might work the way Genesis 12 does, with Adam and Eve chosen out of a larger population the way Abraham and Sarah were chosen out of everyone else. Dr. William Lane Craig addresses both claims, including recent population-genetics research on ancient human bottlenecks, the Apostle Paul's treatment of Adam in Romans 5, and how Collins's view compares to the argument Craig makes in his own book, In Quest of the Historical Adam.
- "Seven Heresies of William Lane Craig"? Dr. Craig Fact Checks!
A viral graphic accuses Dr. Craig of seven heresies. From Neo-Apollinarian Christology, his rejection of limited atonement and Calvinism, to his defense of Molinism. Dr. Craig and Kevin go through the list charge by charge, separating genuine ancient heresies from disagreements, and explain what actually crosses the line into heresy versus faithful, if debated, Christian doctrine.
- Episode 163, The Battle for Reality with Slavoj Zizek, Sabine Hossenfelder, Rowan Williams, and William Lane Craig
Hey Everyone, I'm delighted to present our third and final live show from The Mystery of Existence series at the Royal Institution Theatre, London. People travelled from far and wide to join us, and for our final event we brought together four intellectual heavyweights: Slavoj Žižek, Sabine Hossenfelder, William Lane Craig, and Rowan Williams. In a two vs two debate, they explored the existence of God through science, scepticism, and the resurrection. The full video is now available on the Unbelievable? YouTube channel, so be sure to check it out. Thank you again for supporting the show. We're incredibly excited to be celebrating our tenth anniversary, and we have an important announcement coming in two weeks' time, so stay tuned. Until then, I hope you enjoy the show! - God or Godish? A Conversation with William Lane Craig and Philip Goff
Philip Goff is a philosopher best known for defending panpsychism — the view that consciousness is a fundamental feature of reality. He's also, by his own description, a "mildly heretical Christian." In this conversation, Goff and William Lane Craig find surprising common ground on fine-tuning before turning to the questions that still divide them: the nature of the atonement, whether God is all-powerful, and what the resurrection appearances actually were. A friendly but substantive dialogue between two thinkers who disagree on a lot and yet continue the conversation. About Dr. William Lane Craig William Lane Craig is a philosopher and theologian and the founder of Reasonable Faith. His work spans the existence of God, the Kalam Cosmological Argument, the fine-tuning of the universe, and the historicity of the resurrection. - The Debate Over Hell: William Lane Craig Responds to Hellgate
The Hellgate discussion hosted by Kirk Cameron in January 2026 brought together several respected Christian thinkers to wrestle with one of the Bible's most difficult doctrines. It included Gavin Ortlund, Dan Paterson, Chris Date, and Paul Copan. In this episode, Dr. William Lane Craig evaluates the panel's discussion, considers the biblical arguments that were presented, and offers his own assessment of what Scripture teaches about hell, eternal punishment, and final judgment.
- The Story of Everything: God, Atheism, Meaning and Reality with William Lane Craig, Jessica Frazier, Philip Goff and Joe Folley
Where did reality come from, where is it heading, and does any of it have meaning? In this live Unbelievable X Theora Media event, Jack Symes hosts a major conversation between four strikingly different thinkers: Christian philosopher William Lane Craig, Hindu scholar Jessica Frazier, philosopher Philip Goff and agnostic thinker Joe Folley. Craig argues that God is the best explanation for the universe, morality and human purpose. Folley questions whether meaning needs to be objective. Frazier challenges Western assumptions about God, matter and consciousness, while Goff reflects on mystical experience, psychedelics, suffering and his unexpected journey towards a form of theism. A wide-ranging debate on God, atheism, morality, consciousness and the story of everything. - Alex O’Connor vs William Lane Craig: Does God Exist? The Ultimate God Debate
Filmed before a packed live audience at London’s Royal Institution in May 2026, this Unbelievable? x Panpsycast x Theora co-production brings William Lane Craig face-to-face with Unbelievable? regular Alex O’Connor for a gripping conversation on God, cosmology and suffering. Craig makes the case for Christian theism, drawing on the Kalam cosmological argument, fine-tuning, moral values and the resurrection of Jesus. O’Connor pushes back on whether the universe really had a beginning, pressing Craig on infinity, time, causation and the Big Bang. The discussion then turns to one of atheism’s most powerful objections: animal suffering. Could a loving God allow millions of years of predation, pain and death? Hosted by Jack Symes, stepping in for Jonny Thomson after illness. - William Lane Craig: The Case for God Is Stronger Than Ever
Are the arguments for God’s existence still standing… or have they been defeated? After more than four decades of debates, writings, and public discussions, Dr. William Lane Craig offers a fascinating assessment of where the conversation stands today and why belief in God is far from intellectually obsolete. In this in-depth conversation with Sean McDowell, Dr. Craig walks through six major arguments for the existence of God, explaining why he believes they are not only still relevant—but stronger than ever when taken together. - Debate: Does God Exist? William Lane Craig vs. Christopher Hitchens (2009)
On April 4, 2009, William Lane Craig and Christopher Hitchens met at Biola University to debate the question of God’s existence. Craig is one of the world’s foremost Christian apologists. Hitchens, is a leading spokesman for the “new atheism” movement. In front of an overflow crowd and a global internet audience, they debated the origin and design of the universe, the implications of human morality, the deity of Jesus, and the validity of Christ’s resurrection. It was a compelling clash of worldviews and an examination of the major arguments for and against Christianity and atheism.
