The US president is getting down to business at Mar-a-Lago this morning with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visiting Donald Trump at his Florida club to discuss his latest proposals for peace with Russia. There were some positive signals going into the meeting but major stumbling blocks remain- including the status of disputed territory in the east of Ukraine. However, one might wonder if this venue choice reflects a penchant for showmanship over substance.The Characters: On one side, we have Donald Trump, whose previous claims of solving international conflicts with the finesse of a business deal have often left experts in Politics and #InternationalRelations scratching their heads.
