" Fuze " is a 2025 British crime thriller heist film directed by David Mackenzie and written by Ben Hopkins, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sam Worthington. Set in London, there is a citywide evacuation when an unexploded World War II bomb is unearthed at a busy construction site. Amid the escalating tension and chaos, a daring criminal operation is set in motion -- one that uses the evacuation as a cover for a meticulously planned bank heist. As authorities race against time to contain the crisis, alliances blur, and moral boundaries are crossed. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its action, tension, twists, and muscular direction. Taylor-Johnson, Worthington, and Mackenzie were all kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their work and experiences making the film, which you can listen to below. Please be sure to check out the film, which will be released in theaters on April 24th from Roadside Attractions and Saban Films. Thank you, and enjoy! In this episode of Chasing Impact , MzN interviews Sam Worthington , CEO of InterAction , the largest U.S.-based alliance of INGOs focused on people around the world (we recommend watching this video with closed captions and you can find the transcript below). Sam shares his experiences and insights looking back at two decades of leading InterAction, elaborating on the following topics: why local and INGOs need to work together to deliver the greatest impact possible when the emphasis should be on local and when global aid is necessary why organizations should challenge the expectations and limitations that come with the resources donors, such as the government, foundations, etc., give what successes InterAction has had challenging the US government in the Supreme Court on behalf of civil society how to unite and manage a diverse group of actors under a common goal reminding (I)NGOs of their purpose in this world and warning them not to be disconnected from their values why the size of an NGO does not matter when it comes to the impact it is able to deliver what the NGO leadership of the future will look like Read full post here
Australian drama following the life of a veteran adapting into society whilst looking after his wayward teenage son has extremely potent scenes of a personal journey. Well acted by Sam Worthington, newcomer Ed Carmody, astounding Phoebe Tonkin and multitalented Matt Nable. I spoke with all 4 briefly on Sydney red carpet. Enjoy! https://youtube.com/@movieanalystshaneadambassett?si=nZyw5fHIS4t_KgXj
We have been exploring the theme of authenticity on several podcast episodes and we visit the them again on this one. Sam Worthington, the CEO of Interaction, was our guest today and we spoke a lot about values, authenticity, vulnerability and being a leader. Sam shared about leading from a place of values and how sometimes he has had to make tough decisions based on his values. Part of what was so intriguing to me was Sam's belief that his job as a leader is to open the space for others to lead. He did this to create space for the #MeToo movement. In a recent, venue with NGO CEOs, Sam talked about sharing very personal experiences so as to create the space for other leaders also be vulnerable. This is a must-listen to episode with a leader who walks the talk on authenticity, values, courage and vulnerability.
That's everywhere Sam Worthington has guested so far.
