Winner of The X Factor 2009, Joe McElderry has sold over two million records worldwide. His first single 'The Climb' reached number one in the UK and Irish charts. He has had five top 20 albums, two of them reaching the top three but X factor was just the launch in Joe's versatile career. Joe rose to fame when he won the sixth series of the ITV show The X Factor in 2009. Joe’s first single “The Climb” reached number one in the UK and Irish singles chart and was soon followed by the release of his debut album titled “Wide Awake”.
