The station with more platforms than any other on the Underground gets a bumper episode with special guest Geoff Marshall. Baker Street has one of the most fascinating and complex stories of any station on the Underground. It was the flagship station of the Metropolitan Railway, its growth driven by their determination to both carry commuters more efficiently and prove they were a real mainline railway company. Above the platforms the Met built their headquarters decorated with carvings of railway equipment, and the luxurious Chiltern Court apartment block from which daring commando raids were planned during the Second World War. Deep below ground are the platforms of the Bakerloo and Jubilee lines, decorated with images of the street's famous fictitious resident Sherlock Holmes. Baker Street station has also been home to London Transport's lost property office, their canteen training centre, and the only newsreel cinema that could be found at a London Underground station. We also discover the history of the nearby Madame Tussaud's and its now-lost Planetarium. Joining us for this episode is railway YouTube star Geoff Marshall, with whom we discuss tube stations real and fantastical, podcasting and sharing the positivity of railway enthusiasm. This week, we continue our conversation with our good mate, Geoff Marshall. In the second part of our conversation, the tangents really start to fly. We finish our thoughts on how we'd imagine we would react if we found out an authority figure had abused their power regarding our children. We talk about colloquialisms and rhyming slang which leads us to talk about Guy Ritchie movies. Judge brings up combats sports and we consider the vast differences between MMA and boxing. We finish off our conversation asking the question of what item we would buy if we won the lottery and what it would be that would cause our partners to leave us.
This episode, Nate and Judge had Geoff Marshall join them on the show for some dad talk. In Part One of a two part episode, we talk about video games of the past that ignite the nostalgia in us, modern video games and how technology has advanced to what it is today with the likes of VR. We continue on to talk about childhood crushes at school and how we react as fathers to these kind of situations. We finish up Part 1 with a bit of a cliffhanger. Make sure you tune in next week for Part 2 of our conversation with Geoff to see where we go from here.

In this episode, I sit down with photographer/entrepreneur Geoff Marshall a New Jersey native who's built a life for himself as an independent photographer over the past 10 plus years. Now I have been trying to get Geoff on the show for a minute but when you try to interview someone who's in demand you are going have to give him or her time to find space in their busy schedule. If there is one thing I've learned over the span of this podcast is that you have to give people space to find their way to you because you can't push them or force their hand they will come on when its time. So when we finally got the chance to sit down as you will hear in this episode we really talk about the life of freelance Photographer and the ups and downs going out on your own. The one thing I really hope people get from this episode is that my man Geoff is a very knowledgeable dude who really enjoys his craft and has a world of experience in his field not only that he also speaks some real trust about the business and life.
