In this episode we talk about what EQ is and how important emotional health is, in relationships, parenting and at work. Candice leaves us with some homework, to start exploring our emotions and learning how to label them. Candice King is many things a wife, a mother, a Psychology grad, EQ & Enneagram practitioner, a life coach, and a human just like you. Candice’s life’s journey has forced her to look inwards and be honest with herself. By doing this, she realized that the only way out was up and to get up she had to face up to what was holding her back. A massive shift in her own life happened because circumstance threw her a curveball, and that curveball asked her “are you the victim or the hero of your story” Could she do it? Our Inner critic always speaks the loudest. She didn’t want to silence the inner critic, but rather just turn the volume down. And she did. She also became the hero of her story. She focused on mastering her emotions to guide her through her life.
