EP #321 - Trust What You Feel - An Interview with author and podcaster, Sherianna Boyle My guest for this episode of Empowering Chats is an author and fellow podcaster that I have had on my show at least twice. I am thrilled to once again welcome Sherianna Boyle to Empowering Chats . Sherianna has a new book out called, Just Ask Spirit. In the opening pages of her book, she states this, “In the human world depending on our perceptions we experience emotions either as a gain or loss of energy . . . The challenge is that when we lose energy by denying, ignoring or reacting to emotions the memory of who we truly are – a spiritual being in a human body – dissipates, in other words emotional stress prevents us from knowing and connecting to our soul’s purpose.” According to Sherianna we are all conduits of spirit. Our human experience includes learning to experience emotions on a level that allows those emotions to flow through us. Blocking them is not the answer to growth or spiritual healing. Sherianna says when life feels frightening or uncertain, just ask Spirit! In this chat we dive into her book and explore what that might look like. Including the exploration of our own intuitive gifts to discover the relationship between mental health and spirituality and how emotions and Spirit, working together offer infinite resources to higher wisdom clarity, love, our purpose and so much more. It takes practice and trust. Trusting yourself and listening to your gut. Ep#244 - Free Up Your Energy - An Encore Interview with Author, Sherianna Boyle I had such an amazing chat with author Sherianna Boyle earlier this year that I have asked her back for an encore appearance. Since our last interview I have been working on Sherianna's book, Energy in Action . And through this process I realized there was more to say on the topic – hence I wanted to have another conversation with her. I started this interview by asking Sherianna, why energy has to be in action? According to Sherianna, energy and action go hand in hand. Energy is emotion. And when we focus on emotions and moving the energy of our emotions we can heighten our intuition. Sherianna explained that when we detox our emotions it’s really about detoxing our reactions, not our emotions. The process that she outlines in her book allows for the energy to flow out of us. And according to Sherianna we may find, as she did, that through this process our intuition gets heightened. We also tapped into manifestation and how our emotions and freeing up our energy can help us to manifest our desires. Energy is often thought of as happening outside of us – and the old way of manifesting asks us to put our energy and focus on that thing that we want, most often it’s a material thing, like a new car, a promotion, etc. Sherianna points out that that is also the space where re-activity hangs out. So, all of sudden we can find ourselves in this area of reaction to , or possibly having anxiety about wanting this something to appear in our life and also doubting it will but still trying to manifest it. When we find ourselves in this space often times the intensity surrounding that thing we want –could be a sign that we are in reactivity, and this could override our intent to manifest. It’s important that we not ignore what is coming up. It can be heady, however here’s where we need to pay attention and do cleansing work. It’s about getting out of our heads and experiencing the emotion(s). Sherianna teaches us in her book that it is all about learning how just going outside of ourselves to experience the energy is not the sole answer. It is also about remembering to come back to our body. To our sacred space in order to integrate all of it and work with the energy system we carry within. Sherianna also works with rays of light and how these rays work in tandem with energy to revive us and help us move beyond what is blocking us. In this way we can open up to our intuition, free up energy and manifest our desires. Ep#236 - Tapping into Your Feelings - An Interview with author and emotional detox coach, Sherianna Boyle. I am thrilled to welcome author and detox coach, Sherianna Boyle. She has written many books and her latest is called, Energy in Action . My conversation with Sherianna was so full of insights and gentle reminders of the light we all carry within. Her book is brilliant and it is easy to follow. She explains that doing a physical detox in partnership with an emotional cleanse helps you release the inflammation of the mind. Sherianna explains that an emotional detox is the releasing of the stories and the narratives we use to cover up or minimize what we are going through. And she goes on to explain that you cannot hide once the detox begins. It's all about cleansing the emotions. Which I personally love because for me I often have to have a good cry to see what all the emotion is about. Much of this comes up for me because growing up I was not given room to truly express myself. Sherianna explains that having a good cry is a way of showing self-love and expressing to yourself the need to release the pent-up energies. She says the mindfulness process of an emotional detox is like digesting the energy that is appearing for you. Sometimes in small bites and then following that up with action, in order to move through it. Facing your feelings is often times what ignites your intuition. Sherianna also leads retreats and workshops. She is currently taking registration for her "Wellness & Nature in the Azores" retreat in Portugal in 2024.
