- Be Our Guest with Lucie Jones
Award-winning actor and solo artist Lucie Jones first came to prominence when she reached the finals of ITV’s The X Factor in 2009. Quickly winning the hearts of the nation, she became a household name to the millions of viewers who supported her and watched her perform week after week. Following the TV show, Lucie embarked on the 56-date national arena tour with her fellow contestants, performing to sell-out crowds. Lucie is a lead vocalist on the number-one single ‘You Are Not Alone’, recorded by the 2009 The X Factor finalists. Since then, Lucie has performed all over the world as a solo artist and in many musical theatre productions to great success. Lucie recently performed a successful run in the coveted role of Jenna Hunterson in Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre, London. Lucie was offered the role of Jenna after impressing an audition panel that included multi-Grammy nominee, Tony Awards host and Waitress composer Sara Bareilles. Lucie has, so far, won three awards for her performance in Waitress. Audiences at the Adelphi fell in love with Lucie and her take on the role, and she has received five-star reviews across the board. Some of Lucie’s other roles include Ghost of Christmas Past in Christmas Carol (Dominion Theatre, London), Heidi in Title Of Show (Coliseum, London), Maureen in RENT (The Other Palace and UK Tour), Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (Leicester Curve, UK Tour, and South Korea Opera House: Winner of the Daegu International Music Festival’s Best Actress in a Musical Award), Cosette in Les Misérables, (Queen’s and 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2 Arena), Victoria in American Psycho (Almeida), Molly in Ghost (International Tour), Emily in A Christmas Carol (Lyceum) Ghost of Christmas Past in Christmas Carol (Dominion) and Lou in Girlfriends (Bishopsgate Institute – all for LMTO), Meatloaf in We Will Rock You (International Arena Tour) and Holly in The Wedding Singer (UK Tour). Lucie has also acted on screen, and her catalogue of TV work includes roles in Midsomer Murders and The Sarah Jane Adventures. She will be staring in Alpha's The Best of the West End on April 12th, 2023. More Info: https://www.luciejones.com/

- #743: "Teenage coach" with Lucie Jones
We all want to grow up to be good and well balanced humans but we do not all have the same good and well balanced childhood and this has an impact on our futures. Lucie Jones was like so many in her upbringing and has now dedicated her life to coaching teenagers in some great ways. In this show we talk about mental and physical abuse on many levels, depression, ADHD and many more topics that are not spoken about in the main stream but are such a huge part of so many peoples lives. Lucie has a great coaching service where she helps teenagers (and often parents) with a range of tools to make them epic human beings. - Hanging with Lucie Jones
Lucie Jones is a Welsh born singer, actress and model. We have been friends since we both we part of the 25th Anniversary of Les Miserables. Lucie has starred in several shows after starting her career out as a finalist on the X-Factor. Why I wanted to hang with my friend, Lucie, was to mainly talk about her solo concert which was recorded for an upcoming live album that will is due for release. When we recorded this Lucie was starring as Jenna in Waitress and was due to go back to finish the run. Sadly that wasn't to be as the Coronavirus pandemic was in full effect about a week after this. However, I am looking forward to Lucie releasing her 'Live at The Adelphi Theatre' album this year. Find more info about the podcast via BroadwayPodcastNetwork.com/ . Music by The Dives .
