Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein moved in similar elite circles and shared overlapping social networks, though their relationship was not overtly public or deeply documented in detail. Both men were known for cultivating influence among the wealthy and powerful, including celebrities, politicians, and financiers. There have been reports and allegations that they were acquainted and may have shared connections through figures like Ghislaine Maxwell, Prince Andrew, and various Hollywood and media elites. In the mid-2000s, there were whispers that Epstein offered “damage control” to powerful men facing scandals—suggesting potential cooperation or mutual benefit between him and Weinstein, especially as bot...
Crystal McKinney, a former model, has filed lawsuits against both Sean "Diddy" Combs and Harvey Weinstein, alleging separate incidents of sexual assault in 2003. In her lawsuit against Combs, filed in May 2024, McKinney claims that after meeting him at a Men's Fashion Week event, he invited her to his New York City recording studio under the pretense of discussing her modeling career. There, she alleges he provided her with alcohol and marijuana, which she believes was laced with another substance. McKinney asserts that Combs pressured her to consume more substances and, once she was heavily intoxicated, led her into a bathroom where he forced her to perform oral sex. She later woke up in a cab with no recollection of how she got there and has since experienced ongoing emotional trauma, including depression and a suicide attempt. In a separate case, McKinney filed an amended lawsuit in May 2025 against Harvey Weinstein, alleging that he sexually assaulted her and a friend in a Manhattan hotel room in 2003. According to the complaint, a modeling agency executive arranged a meeting between McKinney and Weinstein at a lounge, which later moved to his hotel room under the guise of discussing acting opportunities. Once there, Weinstein allegedly plied them with alcohol, groped McKinney, and coerced both women into non-consensual sexual acts, including rape. McKinney claims that she and her friend complied out of fear of retaliation and that the incident led to long-term psychological distress. to contact me: bobbycapucci@protonmail.com source: Crystal McKinney adds Harvey Weinstein to lawsuit months after Diddy claims | Fox News

By this time, Louise had already been a trauma specialist for nearly a decade and is the executive director of the non-profit Echo. Echo provides trauma and resilience training for families, communities and professionals and organizations. We discuss the LA trial, which has received little media attention, including the tactics used by Weinstein’s defense team. We also breakdown the defense’s strategy and how it mirrors the perpetrator’s behaviour. We spotlight the tired and worn-out narrative that women who disclose sexual abuse are liars and attention seekers who want fame and fortune and where these tropes come from. We also discuss why the term “accuser” should not be used for victims of sexual and domestic along with defense expert Elizabeth Loftus’ damaging ‘false memory’ narrative regarding trauma victims. There’s a lot at stake with this trial. Join us as we unpack all the latest on this case. Listener discretion is advised. We discuss sexual abuse in graphic detail. #Survivors #HarveyWeinstein #WomenMatter #Trauma #CrimeAnalyst #Expert #Analysis #Behaviour #TrueCrime #Podcast #Crime #SerialPerpetrator Clips https://abc7.com/harvey-weinstein-los-angeles-trial-rape-sexual-assault/12523099/ Sources https://www.echotraining.org/ https://www.pacesconnection.com/blog/my-encounter-with-harvey-weinstein-and-what-it-tells-us-about-trauma https://www.thewrap.com/harvey-weinstein-accuser-louise-godbold-trauma-specialist/ https://www.laurarichards.co.uk/harvey-weinstein/ https://www.laurarichards.co.uk/closing-arguments-harvey-weinstein-the-victim-or-serial-sexual-predator/ https://www.laurarichards.co.uk/harvey-weinstein-sentenced-to-23-years/ https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-12-27/ghislaine-maxwell-jeffrey-epstein-false-memories-defence/100724358 https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/09/us/harvey-weinstein-los-angeles-deliberations-friday/index.html https://variety.com/2022/film/news/harvey-weinstein-abnormal-testicles-rape-trial-1235448425/ https://nypost.com/2022/12/06/harvey-weinsteins-deformed-privates-scrutinized-in-la-rape-trial/ Crime Analyst Merch https://crime-analyst.myshopify.com/ Leave a Review If you want to support my work and Crime Analyst and if you enjoyed this episode, please leave a 5-star review here: https://www.crime-analyst.com/reviews/new/ Learn more about your ad choices. On Wednesday the Harvey Weinstein trial finally came to a close as Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault. Weinstein was convicted last month for sexually assaulting Mimi Haleyi and for raping Jessica Mann. Before today's sentencing, Weinstein was facing up to 29 years in prison. The defense sought a small sentence of only five years and argued that Weinstein would be unable to survive in prison no longer than five years. Additionally, the defense argued that Weinstein had already faced significant financial and personal losses due to the trial. Weinstein will likely serve his sentence in Rikers Island jail in New York. Listen to this exciting (and final) episode of the Weinstein Trial Unfiltered as Harvey Weinstein is sentenced to prison. Is Harvey Weinstein a rapist? Many have already made up their minds, but compelling evidence from the defense could prove otherwise. In the opening day of the trial, we hear statements from the prosecution and the defense. The prosecution argues that Harvey Weinstein is a sexual predator and a rapist. They paint a picture of a man who used his star power to abuse young women and in one case, the prosecution alleges he raped a 27-year old aspiring actress. The defense paints a much different picture. In their opening remarks, they revealed emails between Weinstein and the some of the complainants that showed friendly romantic relationships. The evidence includes texts and emails -- one of which even reads, "I love you, I always do. But I hate feeling like a booty call.” In the first episode of The Weinstein Trial: Unfiltered, our team of veteran voice actors will bring the trial to life and give you an inside look at the courtroom using the court transcripts to show you the truth behind the headlines. With commentary from journalists Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, we hope you enjoy the first episode of this daily series. New episodes will be posted daily at WeinsteinPodcast.com. It’s another live episode, recorded at The Old Selfridges Hotel in collaboration with Google Pixel 2. Dolly’s hungover, Pandora’s no longer pregnant - so some things have changed since our last live episode; but some things have stayed the same. We discuss Georgina Chapman’s first ever interview about her ex-husband Harvey Weinstein in US Vogue, 5 months after allegations broke, triggering MeToo. Was this the right outlet for fashion designer Georgina, to give this interview? Is it a PR move? Did she know? And most importantly: why are innocent women seen as the accomplice of guilty men? In lighter news, we also discuss the Cannes Film Festival’s selfie ban and why you cannot stall a content creator.
