Ahead of the release of Anurag Basu’s Ludo, the film’s cast and director chat with Anupama Chopra about the ’tragic absurdist comedy’ they were creating, how the filmmaker creates his whimsical world, and food which played a very integral part in the making of this film which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Saraf, Pearle Maaney and Inayat Verma.

We met at a secluded Ayur Ayurvedic retreat and I was relieved to have someone as lovely as her to spend my time with, watching movies, taking walks to visit the local buffalo, talking about life and dancing in the rain!
