Denis "The Bosnian Menace" Puric is a decades-long martial artist, and a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo. He has fought around the world in renowned events and promotions such as One Championship (where he currently fights), K1, Bellator, Kunlun Fight, Top King World Series, and MAS Fight to name a few. Over the last decade, Denis has been traveling the world competing at the highest level of kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA. Five of those years were dedicated to training under the legendary Buakaw Banchamek, where he was the only foreigner fighting under the Banchamek banner at the time. Following this training period, "The Bosnian Menace" moved to China for four years, working as a coach for Kunlun Fight League, where his role was to prepare the Chinese professional fight team for their competitions. During this period, Denis was recognised as one of their best coaches. Denis and I crossed paths a few years ago, during my 5-year stint as the Head S & C Coach at Tiger Muay Thai, where he has been a sponsored athlete for many years. Whilst I haven't been on Tiger's books for a year, he contacted me April 9, we caught up for a coffee, and he told me he had the opportunity of a lifetime...his dream fight. RODTANG! This dude has been calling Rodtang's name for years. ONE Championship have obliged this callout, after back-to-back quality performances, which pushed him up into the top echelon of fighters on the Flyweight roster in both Muay Thai and Kickboxing.
