Emily is haunted by the death of her mother, struggles within the confines of her family life and yearns for artistic and personal freedom. So begins a journey to channel her creative potential.

She’s shortlisted for the Alfred Bradley Bursary Award and was part of BBC Writersroom’s Northern Voices 2020.
